Job summary

Del Taco is seeking a Shift Manager to support store operations and assist the General Manager in building an exceptional guest experience. You will lead a small team, ensure quality, safety, and efficiency on shifts, and help train the next generation of leaders in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

You will supervise 1–7 team members, manage day-to-day staffing, and uphold company policies while delivering friendly, efficient service to guests across all stations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in quick service restaurant with guest satisfaction focus.
• Able to partner with management and staff to deliver quality service.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with effective follow-through.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team during shifts and support the GM in executing company policies.
• Explain menu items accurately and ensure guests receive prompts and friendly service.
• Record orders using POS and ensure accurate payment handling.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and food handling standards throughout shifts.
• Contribute to staffing decisions and assist in interviews as needed.
• Assist in training and development of restaurant team and uphold Employer of Choice culture.
