Job summary

Red Robin in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to manage daily restaurant operations during mid and closing shifts under exempt management. You’ll lead with a focus on guest satisfaction, food quality, and cleanliness while training and supporting hourly team members.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year of restaurant experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a flexible schedule. This is a hands-on role with growth opportunities within a fun, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of 1 year full-service restaurant experience preferred.
• Record of maintaining high standards in restaurant cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, and guest satisfaction.
• Business maturity and an ability to effectively supervise peers.
• Passion for the business and compassion for people.
• Highly energetic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable.
• Good oral and written communication skills, and outstanding leadership, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Serv Safe Certified preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations during mid and closing shifts under supervision of exempt management.
• Be an ambassador of Brand Equity Standards to ensure guest loyalty and profit maximization.
• Mentor and supervise peers and support other hourly roles as needed.
• Deliver excellent guest service and uphold food quality and restaurant cleanliness.
