You will train staff, manage service recovery with empathy, monitor safety and sanitation, and support opening/closing tasks, cash handling, and basic inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ years in restaurant or hospitality, lead or training experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, basic math and cash handling, multitasking.
• Certifications: Valid food handler or ServSafe manager certification where required.
• Physical: stand/walk up to 8 hours, lift 25–30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: act as Manager-on-Duty, run pre-shift meetings, direct station flow, manage peak-hour pacing.
• Staff Coaching: train new hires, mentor team members in real time, enforce policies.
• Guest Relations: greet customers, monitor satisfaction, handle service recovery or complaints with empathy.
• Quality & Safety: monitor food temperatures, cleanliness, and health/sanitation code compliance.
• Operations Support: oversee opening/closing checklists, cash drawers, safe drops, track basic inventory.
