Job summary

You will recruit, train, and coach team members, set expectations, schedule staff, and coordinate with the kitchen to deliver timely orders.

Responsibilities include monitoring health and safety, maintaining cleanliness, handling cash procedures, and enforcing SOPs.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency with restaurant management software and POS systems.
• SERV-SAFE certified and knowledge of safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide restaurant staff during the assigned shift.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise team members including shift supervisors and cashiers.
• Set performance expectations, evaluate and train staff to improve skills.
• Provide training, coaching, and feedback to ensure high-quality service.
• Create shift schedules considering availability and business needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food preparation and delivery.
• Monitor inventory and place orders to avoid shortages.
• Enforce standard operating procedures including cash handling and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety standards.
