Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or managerial experience in a restaurant setting.

• Solid knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards and safety regulations.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience with POS systems and restaurant management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide restaurant staff during the assigned shift.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise a team including shift supervisors, cashiers, cooks and support staff.
• Set performance expectations, evaluate and train staff to improve skills.
• Provide training, coaching and feedback to ensure high-quality service.
• Delegate tasks for smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
• Monitor dining area for cleanliness, setup and safety standards.
• Interact with customers to gather feedback and address complaints.
• Create shift schedules based on availability and business needs.
• Open and close procedures, ensuring tasks are completed accurately.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food preparation and delivery.
• Monitor inventory and place orders to avoid shortages.
• Enforce SOPs including cash handling, safety and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with managers and owner on operational improvements.
