Taco Bell in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Restaurant Shift Manager to lead a team during your shift, uphold high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and guest service, and ensure adherence to company policies.

You will oversee opening/closing procedures, manage staffing, train new hires, and drive profitability while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and Team Members at this busy location.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or managerial experience in a restaurant setting.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform fast-paced tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate restaurant crew during shifts.
• Delegate tasks and ensure responsibilities are understood.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure outstanding customer service by greeting customers and addressing inquiries.
• Monitor service quality and address issues to maintain satisfaction.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures including cash handling.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Create and maintain shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Train new hires on policies, procedures, and responsibilities.
• Monitor sales and expenses to achieve financial targets.
