HMSHost at Savannah Airport is seeking a Manager I to assist branch management in tactically executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. The MGRI ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards.

The role uses prescribed policies to make management decisions. The position requires supervisory experience, strong customer service, and knowledge of HACCP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Requires a minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions, policy documents, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures; follows company policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within the unit.
• Participates in hiring input and advises on promotions or terminations.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures rest breaks and meal periods are taken by associates.
• Maintains clean, stocked, visually appealing display areas and functioning equipment.
• Operates cash register and handles transactions per cash policies.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns.
• Performs all Health and Safety activities per the Manager’s Guide.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices; maintains contact info for associates.
