Job summary

Fulenwider Enterprises KFC and Taco Bell in Princeton, WV is seeking a Shift Manager to captain the shift, lead a team, and ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. You will oversee staff, handle customer inquiries, and uphold food safety standards to create a fun, high-energy dining atmosphere.

You’ll train new team members, manage cash and inventory, and prepare shift reports while promoting deals and promotions to drive sales.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or fast-food environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to changes.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Food safety certification is preferred but not required (can be obtained on the job).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the shift, oversee staff, handle customer inquiries, and ensure policy compliance.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Maintain high food safety standards in all prep, storage, and handling.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and manage registers.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage stock rotation.
• Prepare shift reports with sales, labor costs, and incidents.
• Train new team members on policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Resolve issues quickly to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant at all times.
• Assist in promotions and specials to drive sales.
