Job summary

Wendy in Muskegon Township is seeking a Shift Manager to be the first management level overseeing opening/closing duties and daily operations. You will supervise crew members, manage cash, and help train through team huddles and meetings, ensuring customer delight and adherence to safety standards.

You will coordinate with the management team to ensure service quality, safety, and professional operations while covering shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum age 18.
• 6 months or more of restaurant, retail or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures for crew members.
• Act as Cash Manager, including setting up and verifying cash at close.
• Perform walk-throughs to ensure readiness to open/close and during rush periods.
• Supervise crew members and Team Trainers to maximize retention.
• Ensure quality, production and service standards and a safe, efficient environment for customers and employees.
• Onboard new hires in Workday and communicate shift procedures.
