Job summary

Moe's Cedar Rapids is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to contribute to daily restaurant operations. You will assist in directing shifts in the absence of leadership while upholding food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards.

You will supervise both FOH and BOH duties, manage labor costs, handle guest comments, support training for new hires, ensure cash handling procedures, and open or close the restaurant as needed to support a smooth, guest-friendly operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible hourly shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during assigned shifts.
• Ensure a positive experience for guests and team members.
• Manage FOH and BOH shift responsibilities and labor costs.
• Monitor speed of service to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Assist with guest comments and complaints.
• Supervise daily shifts to uphold standards of quality and cleanliness.
• Assist in ongoing training of team members and new hires.
• Enforce uniform policy and procedures.
• Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Open and close the restaurant in the absence of upper management.
