Job summary

Taco Bell is hiring a Restaurant Shift Manager at the Somerset, NJ location. You will oversee shift operations, lead crew members, uphold food safety and guest service standards, and ensure smooth daily restaurant performance.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling shifts, training new hires, and maintaining compliance with policies while driving quality and efficiency on the floor.

Qualifications

• Supervisory or managerial experience in the restaurant industry.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant crew during shift and delegate tasks.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with management on supply needs.
• Create and adjust shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
• Train new hires on policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Monitor sales and expenses to support profitability.
