Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a team during their shift, ensuring speed, accuracy, and guest satisfaction from start to finish. You will coach staff, manage labor, handle guest concerns, and uphold food safety and cleanliness to keep operations efficient and profitable.

The role requires strong decision-making, accountability, and the ability to perform in high-volume environments, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership presence and accountability in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to stay composed and make quick decisions under pressure.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Previous restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure food quality, speed of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage labor and productivity during your shift.
• Coach and develop team members in the moment.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally.
• Enforce food safety, cleanliness, and health standards.
• Count drawers and manage cash accurately (if applicable).
• Open and/or close the restaurant following company procedures.
• Maintain a positive, high-energy work environment.
• Communicate clearly with management and team members.
