Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Shift Leader to run a shift with an owner-operator mindset. You will drive team performance, guest satisfaction, and overall restaurant operations from start to finish, ensuring speed, accuracy, cleanliness and a standout guest experience.

You will coach team members, manage labor, handle guest concerns, and uphold food safety standards while keeping the operation profitable and on schedule. Nights and weekends are required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience.
• Focus on guest experience and service standards.
• Familiarity with food safety and cleanliness protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct team members during assigned shifts.
• Ensure food quality, speed of service, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage labor and productivity during your shift.
• Coach and develop team members in the moment.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally.
• Enforce food safety, cleanliness, and health standards.
• Count drawers and manage cash accurately (if applicable).
• Open and/or close the restaurant following company procedures.
• Maintain a positive, high-energy work environment.
• Communicate clearly with management and team members.
