Job description

Summary

Shift Leaders are responsible for coaching Restaurant Team Members during their shift to ensure operational Brand standards are met and excellent guest service is delivered. They set goals, assign tasks, and motivate team members by providing timely feedback.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform all responsibilities of restaurant team members.
2. Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational goals and executing standards.
3. Ensure Brand standards are maintained throughout the shift, including food and beverage preparation.
4. Communicate shift priorities, goals, and results to team members.
5. Coach team members as needed, providing timely, constructive, and clear feedback.
6. Assist in training new restaurant team members.
7. Oversee safety, security, and profitability policies and procedures during the shift.
8. Coordinate with the next Shift Leader to ensure a smooth transition.
9. Ensure Food Safety standards are adhered to.
10. Manage inventory levels during the shift.
11. Provide excellent guest service and coach team members to do the same.
12. Schedule team members' shifts.
13. Manage cash over/short during the shift and ensure compliance with cash management policies.
