Job summary

Anchor Point Management Group is seeking a Shift Leader for our Columbus, OH location. This hourly supervisory role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding hospitality, accuracy, and speed of service.

The position involves hands-on operations, coaching staff, and may include closing duties and occasional openings when management is unavailable. You will ensure safe food service and consistent guest satisfaction across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong preference for internal promotion with completed training and certifications.
• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Minimum 6 months in a shift management or supervisory role in a service-related business.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly with a can-do attitude.
• Good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and accurately take orders.
• Prepare and package food and drinks according to restaurant standards.
• Operate cash registers, process payments, and provide change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with food prep and dishwashing as needed.
• Restock inventory and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and policies.
• Promote new menu items and provide recommendations.
• Assist with opening and closing tasks.
• Manage shifts to ensure fair treatment and legal compliance.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.
• Address safety concerns and report serious issues to manager/HR.
• Conduct daily food safety and prep audits and monitor inventory.
