Job summary

Moe's Southwest Grill is seeking a Team Leader to support daily restaurant operations and supervise shifts to maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. This role handles team and guest issues directly, escalating to management when needed.

The Team Leader also assists in directing operations during GM/ASM absence, ensures proper cash handling, and helps train staff to follow company procedures while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams on shift
• Strong customer service mindset
• Ability to manage cash handling procedures and POS operations
• Experience training staff and enforcing policies

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision during assigned shifts
• Ensure positive guest experience and atmosphere
• Manage FOH and BOH shifts to control labor costs
• Monitor speed of service to maintain quality
• Address guest comments and complaints
• Supervise daily shifts to uphold standards of cleanliness and product quality
• Assist in ongoing staff training and ensure procedures are followed
• Ensure adherence to uniform policy and standards
• Open and close the restaurant in the absence of upper management
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
