Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to lead staff, ensure safe, clean kitchens, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise operations, manage ordering, stocking, and daily prep to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

In a fast-paced team environment, you will assist the General Manager with scheduling, reporting, and cash handling, while upholding food safety standards and maintaining equipment and dining area cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen with proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through ordering, stocking, inventory management and food prep.
• Assist the General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity and reporting.
• Coach and develop staff in preparing and packaging customer orders to maximize service.
• Oversee dining room cleanliness and food prep areas.
• Ensure restaurant equipment is properly maintained.
