Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Restaurant Shift Leader to help run a fast-paced kitchen and dining area. You will lead staff to deliver exceptional customer service, oversee food preparation, and ensure safety and cleanliness in a dynamic retail environment.

You will work with the General Manager to execute daily operations, coach team members, manage inventory, and help drive sales while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in safe, clean kitchen operations and food safety.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Ability to train and coach staff and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with food safety compliance.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory, and prep.
• Assist GM with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, and reporting.
• Coach team members to meet service standards and packaging accuracy.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and proper equipment maintenance.
• Support cash handling and daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
