Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Shift Leader to help create a respectful, positive environment and oversee daily restaurant operations in Columbus. This role involves organizing the team for guest experiences, managing shifts, and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and brand standards across service periods.

The position requires English fluency, basic computer skills, and at least 1 year of restaurant/retail experience with supervisory exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading and writing in English is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Strong math and financial management capabilities.
• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience.
• 1 year supervisory experience is preferred.
• Food Safety training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate job expectations and shift responsibilities to employees.
• Hold team members accountable for performance accurately and respectfully.
• Support the development of team members.
• Create and maintain a guest focused culture.
• Ensure Brand standards, recipes, and systems are executed.
• Ensure shift is staffed and meets guest service goals.
• Ensure shift has adequate product for use and prepared as directed.
• Action plans to ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment.
• Action plans to drive system improvements.
• Control costs while also driving service and sales goals.
• Manage in-restaurant cash and banking procedures to standard.
• Execute promotions with team training and sampling.
