Job summary

AC Hotel Detroit at the Bonstelle is seeking a friendly server to deliver food and beverages, set and reset tables, and maintain dining room cleanliness. You will support the service team to exceed guest expectations while following safety procedures and proper handling of equipment and linens.

The role requires basic hospitality knowledge, 1–3 years in food service, and a neat appearance. High school diploma is preferred and a Safe Server Alcohol certification is required.

Qualifications

• High school completion or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of food service experience preferred.
• Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required.
• California RBS Certification (if applicable) noted in job specifics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests in the restaurant and ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare and clean tables, reset quickly between guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, chairs and floors.
• Assist service team to meet guest expectations and safety standards.
• Handle equipment and linens safely; respond to spills promptly.
