Job summary

Azul Hospitality Group is seeking a Banquet House Attendant for AC Detroit at the Bonstelle in Detroit, MI. This temporary role handles setup, service, and breakdown of meeting and banquet spaces, keeping rooms tidy and stocked according to BEOs and supervisor directions.

You will vacuum floors, wipe surfaces, manage linen and supplies, assist with guest inquiries, and ensure safety and cleanliness throughout events.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Experience in hotel/resort banquet settings preferred.
• Must be able to speak/read/write in English and communicate effectively.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clean, and maintain banquet and meeting rooms per specifications and BEOs.
• Vacuum floors, clean walls, windows, and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
• Store and organize linen, pads, pens, and supplies; manage beverage and service ware.
• Serve meetings by removing trash, clearing tables, and returning equipment to proper areas.
• Assist guests and locate convention materials as needed; follow safety procedures.
