Job summary

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers - Gilbert is seeking a friendly restaurant server to take orders, answer questions about the menu, and promote the dining experience. You will communicate orders to the kitchen via POS, seat guests, and assist with customer service and cleaning.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking in a fast-paced setting, and adherence to food safety and alcohol service guidelines while providing excellent service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for processing payments.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Valid Food Handlers Certification.
• Alcohol service licensing or certification.
• Ability to learn POS software: Aloha, Hot Schedule, Paylocity.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and seat them.
• Take accurate orders and relay to kitchen staff.
• Provide menu recommendations to enhance dining.
• Process payments accurately at the table or POS.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area and stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely orders.
• Stay updated on menu items and daily specials.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
• Adhere to alcohol service policies and safety practices.
