Job summary

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers - Gilbert in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a talented Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will oversee daily kitchen operations, coordinate food preparation, and ensure dishes meet our high standards of quality and consistency.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, applying grilling, sautéing, frying, broiling and baking techniques; maintaining menu knowledge; ensuring food safety; collaborating with staff; and upholding cleanliness and organization during

Qualifications

• Food safety knowledge and practices including proper storage, handling, and hygiene.
• Time management in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Strong teamwork and communication with kitchen and FOH staff.
• Physical stamina to stand long hours and lift heavy items.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock your station before each shift.
• Utilize grilling, sautéing, frying, broiling and baking techniques.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the menu, ingredients, portions and presentation.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean kitchen.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders to meet guest expectations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate cooking activities.
• Inspect food for quality and freshness and address issues with kitchen management.
• Assist in monitoring inventory and report shortages to kitchen management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and storage spaces.
