Job Overview:

Steel District Restaurant Group is seeking an energetic and experienced Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role will involve both serving tables and mixing quality cocktails behind the bar. We are looking for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Server Duties:

1. Greet guests promptly and provide a warm, welcoming experience.
2. Take accurate food and drink orders, offering menu recommendations and answering any questions.
3. Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner.
4. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, ensuring all needs are met.
5. Handle payments efficiently and accurately, ensuring correct billing.
6. Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas.

Bartender Duties:

1. Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages to guests.
2. Check guests' identification to ensure legal drinking age.
3. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking inventory, prepping garnishes, and cleaning glassware.
4. Provide drink recommendations and educate guests on various beverages and menu pairings.
5. Monitor bar patrons for overconsumption and maintain a safe, responsible atmosphere.

General Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service.
2. Ensure all food and beverage orders are delivered accurately and promptly.
3. Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
4. Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including all COVID-19 protocols if applicable.
5. Uphold the restaurant’s high standards of hospitality and guest service.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a server and/or bartender in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is preferred.
2. Knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and proper serving techniques.
3. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to remain friendly and professional in a busy environment.
4. Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
6. Must meet local legal age requirements for serving alcohol.
