Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations under the guidance of the General Manager and Area Leader. You will help set store action plans, drive metrics, and develop hourly Team Members with strong competency-based leadership.

You will learn to master operations, schedules, forecasting, labor management, and inventory while maintaining high service standards and guest satisfaction across shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in hospitality/restaurant
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with daily restaurant operations
• Support scheduling and staffing
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback
• Uphold food quality, service, and cleanliness standards
• Address team member issues to maintain a positive environment
• Enhance guest experience and address customer concerns
• Support financial reporting and budget adherence
• Ensure cash handling procedures are followed
• Maintain food safety practices and team training
• Handle administrative tasks like inventory and records
• Contribute to special projects and initiatives
• Support General Manager and higher management as needed
• Remain flexible for night/weekend shifts and travel as required
