Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and Area Leader in delivering exceptional restaurant operations. You will help manage schedules, labor, inventory, and financial performance while coaching Team Members to uphold high service standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in supervisory roles, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven track record of customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing and resolving team issues.
• Help manage financial aspects including sales tracking and budgeting, and prepare reports.
