Job summary

LOGAN’s Roadhouse seeks an Assistant General Manager for a single restaurant to drive operations, sales and profitability. You will oversee hiring, training, safety, food quality, guest service, and policy compliance, and you will stand in for the General Manager when needed.

You will lead shifts, coach hourly team members, manage inventory and vendor relations, and ensure ServSafe, HACCP, OSHA standards, while maintaining cost controls and strong guest relations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum two years restaurant management experience required.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Energetic and flexible.
• Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
• Follows direction with focused attention.
• Strong computer skills
• Must possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications

Responsibilities

• Model hospitality with 100% table visits to guests.
• Effectively handle guest complaints.
• Assist marketing techniques and research to attract new guests.
• Build positive, professional relationships with community members.
• Assist staffing needs: review applications, interview candidates, and training.
• Plan and lead shift meetings and solicit feedback from team members.
• Provide performance feedback and development goals to hourly team members.
• Ensure proper submission and documentation of all guest and team member injuries/incidents.
• Communicate employee relations issues to Human Resources.
• Manage shifts to achieve sales and profit goals (labor and cost of sales).
• Complete administrative manager functions and transactions.
• Adhere to SERV Safe Alcohol, Food, OSHA, and HACCP standards; ensure PCI compliance.
• Conduct time punch audits and adjust as needed.
• Assist with rollouts of new programs, policies, procedures.
• Unloading vendor shipments and rotate inventory.
• Monitor cost of sales versus targets; safeguard staff and facility safety.
