Job summary

The Assistant General Manager at Logan’s Roadhouse is responsible for the overall operational excellence of a single restaurant, driving sales and all aspects of profit and loss, and preparing financial projections. Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum two years restaurant management experience required.
• College degree preferred or equivalent in experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to motivate employees to work as a team to ensure food and service meet standards.
• Energetic and flexible.
• Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor in difficult situations.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Forms strong working relationships within team.

Responsibilities

• Model hospitality skills and conduct 100% table visits.
• Effectively handle guest complaints.
• Assist marketing techniques and research to attract new guests.
• Build positive relationships with community members.
• Assist with staffing and training; review applications and interview.
• Plan and lead shift meetings and solicit feedback.
• Provide performance feedback and development goals to hourly staff.
• Document injuries and incidents and communicate issues to HR.
• Manage shifts to achieve sales and profit goals including labor and cost of sales.
• Complete administrative manager functions and transactions.
• Ensure SERV Safe Alcohol, Food, OSHA, HACCP standards; PCI compliance.
• Conduct time punch audits and correct as needed.
• Assist with rollouts of new programs and procedures.
• Unload vendor deliveries and rotate inventory.
• Monitor cost of sales vs targets; manage cash handling and deposits.
• Maintain vendor relationships for timely, cost-effective deliveries.
• Understand budget and analyze sales data to meet revenue goals while controlling waste and labor.
• Adhere to safety and security policies.
