Job summary

Focus Group Services LLC is seeking an Operations Leader to support the Restaurant Leader in directing daily restaurant operations and leading team members to deliver consistent guest service, food quality, cleanliness, safety, and operational execution.

You will provide leadership across shifts, support staffing and labor management, coach team members, and help ensure company standards and procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food service, retail, or hospitality leadership experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and team leadership skills with the ability to lead by example.
• Ability to follow and enforce operational procedures, recipes, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Effective communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise team members during assigned shifts to ensure efficient and effective restaurant operations
• Support the Restaurant Leader with opening, closing, cash handling, shift handoffs, and operational readiness
• Ensure food preparation, cooking, service, cleanliness, and sanitation meet company quality and safety standards
• Monitor guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Assign tasks, manage shift flow, and coach team members to maintain productivity, morale, and accountability
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members as directed
• Monitor labor, staffing, breaks, schedules, and timekeeping in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
• Support inventory, ordering, receiving, waste control, and cost-control processes
• Assist with compliance related to food safety, cash controls, loss prevention, workplace conduct, and company policies
• Communicate operational issues, staffing needs, and performance concerns to the Restaurant Leader
• Act as the leadership point of contact when the Restaurant Leader is not present
• Perform other duties as assigned
