Job summary

Fiesta Restaurant Group is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT) to develop into a future leader. The MIT will gain hands-on experience managing daily operations, food safety, guest service, labor, and team development, learning through close collaboration with the Training General Manager and Field Training Manager.

This role leads a team of 25+ in a fast-paced environment, conducts daily huddles, assists with scheduling, inventory, payroll, and performance coaching, and participates in hiring

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years restaurant experience with 2+ in supervisory role.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Proficiency with HRIS, Outlook, and internal tools.
• Strong English communication (verbal and written).
• Proven leadership and team development ability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring food quality, safety, cleanliness, and service.
• Coach and develop hourly team members and supervisors.
• Lead a team of 25+ employees and ensure standards.
• Conduct daily pre-shift huddles and align goals.
• Assist in scheduling, inventory, payroll, and cash handling.
• Support guest experience initiatives and address guest concerns.
