Job summary

Fiesta Restaurant Group’s Manager in Training program offers hands-on leadership exposure across restaurant operations, safety, guest service, labor management, and team development in a fast-paced setting.

Under guidance of the General Manager and leadership team, MITs learn to foster a high-performance culture, manage up to 25+ team members, and drive guest satisfaction while adhering to company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years in the restaurant industry with supervisory or leadership experience.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Proficiency with technology systems including HRIS platforms, Outlook, and internal tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Proven leadership and team development experience with operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations ensuring food quality, safety, cleanliness and service.
• Coach and engage hourly team members and managers for strong performance.
• Lead a team of 25+ employees adhering to standards and policy.
• Conduct daily pre-shift huddles to align goals and updates.
• Assist in scheduling, inventory, payroll, and reconciliations.
