Job summary

Fiesta Restaurant Group is seeking a Manager in Training to develop leadership skills through hands-on restaurant operations experience. You will support food safety, guest service, labor management, and team development while working with senior leaders to drive a high-performance culture.

The MIT will learn to lead, coach, and develop a team of 25+ in a fast-paced environment, ensuring operational excellence and consistent guest satisfaction. Strong communication in English required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of restaurant experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Proficiency with technology systems including HRIS, Outlook and internal tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure quality, safety, cleanliness and consistent service.
• Coach and develop hourly team members and managers for a high-performance culture.
• Lead guest service initiatives and address guest concerns with urgency and care.
• Supervise a team of 25+ employees and ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct daily pre-shift huddles to align goals and service standards.
• Assist in scheduling, inventory, payroll, and reconciliation processes.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and leadership development.
• Monitor labor and financial performance to hit targets.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive work environment and report incidents promptly.
