Job summary

Buona Restaurant and Buona Catering is seeking an Assistant General Manager to drive sales, manage costs, and lead a dynamic team on site. Under the direction of the General Manager, you will help attain profit targets and oversee shifts, training, and policy adherence.

You will oversee budgeting, payroll, forecasting, and staffing, ensuring a strong, family-oriented culture while delivering exceptional hospitality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a Food and Beverage Manager role (QSR preferred).
• Drive-thru and Catering experience preferred.
• Familiar with and comfortable leading 10+ team members per shift.
• Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant practices, concepts, and procedures.
• Strong administrative, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to lead 10+ team members per shift.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets
• Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales
• Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials
• Manage and control direct expenses
• Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses
• Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees
• Conduct quarterly reviews
• Adhere to established training programs
• Determine advancement/termination
• Develop employees into shift managers
• Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success
