Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group seeks an Assistant Manager to drive sales growth, uphold company standards of excellence for each shift, oversee food service flow, assign tasks, manage cash control, and deliver outstanding hospitality.

You will train Team Members under the General Manager, support daily operations, and help develop and retain staff while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing restaurant operations and guest service.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage shifts.
• HR processes including disciplinary write-ups experience.
• Ability to maintain records and reports per standards.
• Payroll and inventory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members and shift leaders to uphold quality and profitability.
• Coordinate staff training with team trainers.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with management and staff.
• Handle HR issues including disciplinary actions.
• Conduct team meetings to discuss operations and promotions.
• Conduct weekly inventories.
• Control payroll to meet labor cost standards.
• Control inventory to meet GAP standards.
• Support management and GM in operations decisions.
• Maintain reports and records per standards and compliance.
• Maintain building, equipment, and sanitation procedures.
• Manage cash for shifts, deposits, and cash procedures.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and security policies are observed.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior.
• Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety policies for a safe environment.
• Perform other tasks as directed by management.
