Job summary

Capstone Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive sales growth and maintain standards of excellence for the assigned shift, directing food service flow, assigning tasks, overseeing cash control, and delivering the highest quality hospitality.

You will train team members under the General Manager, support operations, and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation and HR policies while managing records and labor costs.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising team members and shift leaders.
• Ability to manage payroll and inventories to meet cost standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience handling HR issues, including disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members and shift leaders, upholding quality, service, safety and profitability.
• Coordinate staff training with team trainers.
• Maintain positive working relationships with management and peers.
• Handle HR issues as they arise, including disciplinary write-ups.
• Conduct team meetings to discuss operations, procedures and promotions.
• Conduct weekly inventories and ensure accuracy.
