Job summary

Michael Jordan's Restaurants at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and drive exceptional guest experiences. You will oversee scheduling, budgeting, inventory, and staff development to ensure consistent service.

You will partner with the General Manager to monitor performance, train teams, and uphold food quality and safety standards while maintaining a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years minimum experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience required.
• Experience with P&L reports and working with budgets.
• Experience with POS.
• Basic math skills.
• Experience in training (planning, and implementation).
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook at a minimum).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular management meetings to discuss department performance and priorities.
• Conduct daily pre-shift/post-shift meetings to improve communication.
• Ensure hosts greet guests and answer calls promptly and cordially.
• Optimize seating to maximize revenue while maintaining service quality.
• Monitor staff appearance and morale; take corrective action.
• Respond to guest complaints and take necessary action.
• Assist GM in staffing, budgeting and employee reviews.
• Manage inventory and coordinate with vendors for timely orders.
• Train, monitor, and maintain the POS system.
