Job summary

Michael Jordan's Restaurants, a collaborative venture involving Cornerstone Restaurant Group, is located at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut. The Sales & Events Manager will drive group dining and private event sales across three locations, manage contracts, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver flawless events.

The role requires a proven sales track record in F&B, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to forecast revenue and create quarterly marketing plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in F&B.
• Proven track record for increasing sales.
• Ability to cost out menu packages to meet margins.
• Experience forecasting sales and preparing marketing plans.
• Quarterly 30/60/90 marketing plan development is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle inquiries, proposals, and sales opportunities for group dining and private events.
• Lead contract negotiation and manage event bookings.
• Oversee contracts in TripleSeat and OpenTable from booking to completion.
• Lead weekly BEO meetings with management and operations.
• Develop pace reports and monitor sales performance.
