Job summary

Burger King - 3217 - Pinole is seeking a restaurant operations manager to oversee front-of-house and overall store performance. You will train staff, ensure quality service, and drive sales while controlling costs and labor.

This role requires strong leadership, adherence to health and safety standards, and the ability to manage payroll and inventory. The candidate should have Serv Safe certification, a high school diploma or GED, and prior restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• High School or GED; some college preferred; Previous restaurant experience desirable.
• Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be Serv Safe certified.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of P&L analysis, Cash Controls, Labor Analysis, Yields and calculating food costs.
• Willing to work a variety of shifts and times of day; OPEN availability.

Responsibilities

• Work the front counter to ensure quality service and train employees.
• Lead meetings with team and management for planning, training, and reviewing procedures.
• Develop and maintain sales; utilize local store marketing.
• Monitor utilities, supplies and costs; analyze P&L and take corrective action.
• Develop and post labor schedules; adjust labor to sales volume.
• Manage restaurant cash control and deposits; follow cash handling procedures.
• Maintain health, safety, and image standards; ensure cleanliness and uniforms compliance.
• Post posters and maintain employee files per federal/state requirements.
