Job summary

Delight Restaurant Group / Wendy's is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations in Chesapeake, VA. You will direct staff, drive sales, control costs, and ensure adherence to company policies and food safety standards.

You will develop staff through training, performance reviews, and succession planning while collaborating with the District Manager to meet KPIs and customer satisfaction targets. A strong focus on leadership and brand integrity is required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 years line operations experience in the restaurant industry or equivalent.
Ability to learn and apply company policies, HR procedures, and SOPs.
Demonstrated supervisory experience and performance feedback.

Responsibilities

Manage restaurant operations and staff to execute company policies and programs.
Provide leadership, direction, training, and development to managers and crew.
Grow customer satisfaction by maintaining Delight Every Customer standards.
Oversee talent development, staffing levels, and HR processes with the District Manager.
Monitor food safety, quality, service, and cleanliness; drive performance improvements.
Lead strategic planning for sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
