Job summary

Kaskaid Hospitality seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee all areas of the restaurant, recruit staff, enforce standards, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will manage costs, supervise cash controls, and coordinate with home office for provisioning.

This exempt, salaried role requires 6+ years of supervisory experience, including alcoholic beverage service; ServSafe certification is a plus. Expect a 50‑hour week.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience in a supervisory restaurant role.
• Completed Alcohol Service Training Course.
• Experience managing cost controls is a plus.
• Experience managing POS systems and daily cash controls.
• Cash handling, reconciliation and reporting familiarity.
• Strong marketing and sales background.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time management abilities.
• Ability to delegate tasks and work independently or in a team.
• Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
• Proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Aloha/Compeat/Tripleseat/Hotschedules.
• ServSafe or Health certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all areas of the restaurant and make final guest service decisions.
• Assess staffing needs and recruit staff when needed.
• Facilitate policy changes and cascade information to staff.
• Adhere to standards to increase sales and minimize costs across food, beverage, supply, utility and labor.
• Manage invoices, reporting and payroll-related administrative duties.
• Manage staff performance in line with established standards.
• Enforce sanitary practices and safety compliance in all areas.
• Maintain professional restaurant image and appearance standards.
• Estimate costs and coordinate provisioning with home office staff.
• Respond to guest complaints to turn dissatisfied guests into return visits.
