Job summary

Starbird is seeking a high-impact Operations Leader to drive performance across guest experience, financials, and team development in a fast-growing restaurant brand. You will act as the operational engine, maintaining standards, optimizing staffing, and leading initiatives to enhance revenue and profitability.

You will recruit, mentor, and empower restaurant managers, ensuring compliance, training, and consistent service quality while partnering with Marketing, IT, and Finance to scale

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality, service, and people/metrics management.
• 7+ years managing fast-paced, growth-driven restaurants.
• 5+ years hiring, developing, and managing teams.
• Proven ability to grow business and build guest loyalty.
• Experience with restaurant software (Harri, Paylocity, OPUS, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
• Experience implementing complex systems and processes.
• Strong communication skills; Spanish bilingual a major plus
• Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and deliver operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Guest Experience and Service standards, ensuring hospitality and service recovery.
• Oversee Financial & Administrative Management including timekeeping, cash handling, and inventory.
• Run Restaurant Operations with staffing, scheduling, and service consistency.
• Provide Leadership & Team Development through recruiting, coaching, and mentoring managers.
• Support Sales & Marketing through local/national promotions and events.
• Collaborate Cross-Functional with Marketing, Technology, Culinary, People & Culture, and Finance.
