Job summary

Starbird is seeking an accomplished Operations Leader to drive guest experience, financial performance, and team development across rapidly growing locations. You’ll lead restaurant operations, oversee staffing, and collaborate with marketing, IT, and finance to scale processes while maintaining brand standards.

The role emphasizes P&L ownership, sales growth, and disciplined operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality, service, and people/metrics management.
• 7+ years managing fast-paced, growth-driven restaurants.
• 5+ years hiring, developing, and managing teams.
• Experience with restaurant software (Harri, Paylocity, OPUS, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
• Spanish bilingual a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards for food, beverage, hospitality, and service recovery.
• Maintain strong floor presence, personalize guest interactions, and anticipate guest trends.
• Uphold company policies and all regulatory requirements; manage timekeeping and payroll systems.
• Oversee cash handling, credit controls, and inventory management; own P&L performance, revenue growth, cost control.
• Lead daily restaurant, catering, and third-party delivery operations; ensure staffing and scheduling.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor managers and team members; build bench strength and coach.
• Execute local and national promotions, events, and limited-time offers; support client interactions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Technology, Culinary, People & Culture, and Finance; drive brand initiatives.
