Starbird Chicken in Seattle, WA is seeking a full-time Restaurant Team Lead to guide shifts, coach teammates, and uphold exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old.
• 1+ years of restaurant, hospitality, retail, food service, or guest-facing experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Ability to lead by example and positively influence others.
• Demonstrated reliability and leadership potential.
• Ability to support opening and closing operations independently.
• Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Current Food Handler Certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire (company covers the cost).
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and coach team members on hospitality standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A RESTAURANT TEAM LEAD

• 18+ years old
• 1+ years of restaurant, hospitality, retail, food service, or guest-facing experience

Previous experience as a Key Holder, Trainer, Shift Lead, or in another leadership role, along with the ability to quickly learn technology, coach operational changes, and effectively resolve guest concerns, is preferred.

DAY-TO-DAY

This is a full-time position with shifts that vary based on business needs and are scheduled within operating business hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

As our Restaurant Team Lead, you'll welcome guests, coach team members, and set the standard for hospitality and teamwork. Your responsibilities include training staff, monitoring food quality and safety, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth operations. Whether opening the restaurant, managing busy periods, resolving guest concerns, or preparing for shifts, you'll play a key role in creating a positive experience for guests and developing future leaders of Starbird.
