Job summary

GK Brands NY,NJ and FL seeks a Restaurant Manager to oversee planning, organizing, training, and leadership to meet objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, customer service, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

You will ensure policies are followed, provide friendly service, maintain recipes and standards, schedule labor, and manage payroll efficiency. You will work with ownership and HR on staffing decisions and ensure regulatory compliance while driving marketing efforts.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in Hospitality, Supervisory Management or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of management-level experience.
• Current NYC Food Handler Permit/ServSafe Manager certification mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, organizing, training and leadership to meet objectives in sales, costs, Employee retention, customer service and satisfaction, food quality and sanitation.
• Ensure customers receive welcoming, responsive and courteous service at all times.
• Maintain consistent food quality and serving standards per recipes and portions.
• Drive company objectives in sales, service and appearance through staff development and positive work environment.
• Control cash and reconcile receipts per restaurant policies and procedures.
• Make employment and termination decisions in collaboration with owner, franchise consultant and HR.
• Fill in as needed to maintain service standards and efficient operations.
• Schedule labor to meet activity and manage labor cost objectives.
• Enforce policies on personnel and administer corrective action when needed.
• Comply with health, safety and labor regulations affecting restaurant operations.
• Develop, plan and execute restaurant marketing, advertising and promotions.
