Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group, Inc. is seeking a Subway Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring customer service, food quality, employee supervision, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, cleanliness, and compliance with Subway and PMG standards in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will motivate a team, maintain high service levels, train staff, and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and safely, while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or college degree.
• Restaurant, retail, hospitality or customer-service experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis.
• Operate cash register, according to PMG standards, surrounding cash handling, record keeping, and paperwork.
• Uphold food safety standards during preparation and serving of food.
• Prepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
• Ability to train, coach, and hold employees accountable.
• Is required to be Serve Safe Certified
• Completes SUBWAY courses as directed and in full compliance with Subway
• Recruits, rewards and terminates staff as necessary
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Must be dependable, professional, and able to work independently, if necessary
• Execute daily store tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Communication of daily issues/challenges with Management
• Ensure PMG policies and procedures surrounding Safety and Operational Excellence are executed
• Perform work with Integrity, Honesty, and Respect
