Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza is hiring a Restaurant Assistant Manager to help oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring friendly, personalized service with great food delivered promptly in a clean and inviting environment.

The role supports the General Manager and works with the District Manager and team to maintain standards, develop staff, and promote a team-focused, guest-first culture in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and access to private transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant’s daily operations.
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team.
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management.
• Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met.
• Set the tone for a fun, family environment in the restaurant.
