Job summary

Burger King in Bloomfield, NM seeks an Assistant Manager to lead restaurant profitability, guest service, and people development. You will support the RGM, manage 20-45 team members, and oversee daily operations of a single restaurant, ensuring standard brand execution and strong cash controls.

You will drive inventory management, staff training, and performance while maintaining efficient service and adherence to company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management influence profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead profitability and inventory control through regular inspections and ordering.
• Direct guest service to ensure accurate, fast, and friendly service in a clean facility.
• Coach Shift Coordinators and Team Members to raise restaurant performance.
• Direct operations to ensure efficient and accurate product preparation and timely delivery.
• Uphold brand standards and, when needed, perform duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator.
