Job summary

Burger King is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead restaurant operations in Clovis, NM. As the AM, you will partner with the Restaurant General Manager to drive profitability, guest satisfaction, and staff development, while managing 20-45 team members.

You will oversee inventory, asset management, and daily operations to meet brand standards and speed-of-service goals, including coaching shifts coordinators and maintaining strict payroll and cash-control practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred.
• Some understanding of P&L interpretation and management influence profitability.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for the proper functioning of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Oversees profitability by managing inventory costs, ordering inventory, and monitoring assets.
• Ensures cash control and security procedures are followed.
• Motivates and directs team members to deliver fast, friendly service in a clean facility.
• Coaches shifts coordinators and team members to boost performance.
• Directs operations for efficient product prep and timely delivery while upholding brand standards.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Coordinator when needed.
