CAVA - North Atherton in State College, PA is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead restaurant operations under the General Manager and Area Leader. You will help manage schedules, forecasting, labor, and inventory while training and supporting Team Members to uphold CAVA’s standards of food quality and service.

The role emphasizes leadership, guest satisfaction, cost control, and collaboration with leadership to drive profitability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and opening/closing tasks.
• Ensure adherence to standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to protect profitability.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to Team Members.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing, addressing Team Member issues.
• Uphold guest experience and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Support with financial reporting and performance analysis.
