Job summary

CAVA is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Ohio to translate our mission and values into day-to-day restaurant leadership. You will partner with the General Manager to drive schedules, forecasting, and inventory while coaching Team Members to deliver exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to CAVA’s standards for food quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory, supply orders, and cost control to maintain profitability.
• Supervise and support Team Members with training, coaching, and feedback.
• Support the General Manager with scheduling and staffing.
• Address Team Member issues to maintain a positive work environment.
• Enhance guest experience by upholding high service standards and addressing customer concerns.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives to drive restaurant success.
